Please contact the studio if you wish to know more or your questions have not been answered.
Are you open on weekends?
We are open 7 days a week including most public holidays. Please check our opening hours.
Do I need to make an appointment?
We welcome walk ins and appointments, but to secure a time we strongly suggest an appointment.
Are gift vouchers available?
Yes gift vouchers are available, to any denomination and lasts for 6 months.
Do you offer piercing specials?
If you choose to have two of the same piercings in the one sitting we offer the second piercing HALF PRICE.
This is the piercing cost only, jewellery is excluded. The piercing must be the same type of piercing, ie 2 x earlobe, 2 x helix, 2 x nipple, etc.
What payment options do you have?
Cash and Eftpos (debit and credit)
Do you pierce with the “gun”?
We DO NOT use piercing guns as they cannot be sterilised and this method is very unsafe and damaging to the body. They cause blunt force trauma, excess scarring and can shatter cartilage, among other issues. Do not let anyone near any part of your body with a piercing gun.
Will you pierce my baby’s ears?
No. We believe to be unethical and abusive to pierce a child’s ears at any age under 5.
Even between the age of 5-10 we will conduct a mock piercing with the child to make sure they are ok with the procedure and understand what is about to happen to them. We will not hold the child down or force them into the procedure, and this goes for the parents in the studio also. We have the right to refuse any kind of procedure that the child is not consenting to or not psychologically or anatomically ready for.
Is there anything I can do to prepare for my appointment?
For genital piercings we request that the client has showered and cleaned themselves prior to the piercing. Poor hygiene or infections/disease of the area will be turned away.
For all other piercings we suggest you have slept well the night prior, eaten in the last 4 hours prior to the procedure and had nothing alcoholic or substance based for the last 12 hours prior to the procedure.
How old do I have to be to be pierced?
If receiving a genital piercing or nipple piercing, you must bring valid photo ID to prove that you are 18 years of age. It is illegal and unethical to pierce anyone under the age of 18 with both male and female genitals and nipples. Feel free to read the current legislation if you have any problems with our stance on this matter. https://www.legislation.qld.gov.au/LEGISLTN/CURRENT/P/PubHelCPA03.pdf.
For anyone under the age of 16 we require a parent or legal guardian to accompany you with photo ID and a medicare card showing both names. If you 16 or over you will need a valid photo ID with your date of birth stated.
Am I able to get pierced while pregnant?
We suggest you read about the information in regards to this on the website www.safepiercing.org. We do advise against it however, as the risk to you and the child is too high.
Can I bring my child with me while I get a piercing?
We are a family friendly studio but do require the child to be able to sit quietly without touching anything and follow basic safety rules (they cannot be running around the studio or screaming etc). If the child is unruly then the studio reserves the right to ask you to leave the premises. The safety of our staff and clients is paramount.
I was pierced at another shop and now I am having problems, are you able to help me?
We welcome anyone having troubles with piercings, no matter where you had them performed. We also welcome jewellery changing and stretching also. We will help you as much as we can!
Can I bring my own jewellery to be pierced with?
If you purchased the jewellery from our studio then that will be no problem. Bring it in an hour before your appointment so we can sterilise it prior to piercing with it. If you have purchased it from another studio that strictly uses the same brands and quality that we use then this should also be fine, you will need to bring it in for us to check. We will not compromise on quality in our studio.
